Member QuickTalk | Active Learning in the time of Covid-19: Part II

In this EDUCAUSE member event – focused on conversation rather than presentation and in partnership with FLEXspace.org, we’ll continue to discuss how the COVID-19 global health pandemic is bringing about short and long-term challenges related to the future of active, collaborative, hands-on learning, and the definition of “learning spaces.” In our hour together, we’ll explore the following questions:

How have IT units, faculty developers, and instructors shifted since the pandemic began almost one year ago?
How did your Fall journey unfold?
What were your greatest challenges, successes, surprises?
What lessons are you applying to Spring 2021? What next?

We will address some issues faced with support/in-room hardware, and its effect on active learning, as well as share some pedagogical strategies that worked for engaging students in active learning in online classes.
