Member QuickTalk | Planning for the Multi-Modal Future with the LSRS v3
As higher education recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, campuses are returning to learning spaces. The newly released Learning Space Rating System v3, now available on the EDUCAUSE website, offers a tool to navigate strategies to approach the design of both classroom and virtual learning spaces in an inclusive, flexible way. Join us to discuss what’s “new and improved” about the LSRS, including a broader framework to measure multimodal learning, a new section on inclusion, and a simplified scoring system.
Questions we will be exploring together:
- The faculty development credits are most heavily weighted in the LSRS v3. Where might you fall on these credits right now and what are the challenges for you to move forward?
- How has the pandemic contributed to density on your campus, and how might that impact your scores?
- How much has the hyflex conversation contributed to your designs?
- What are some examples of inclusive classrooms that you can provide?
