New to Higher Education is a welcoming, self-paced onboarding experience for professionals who are new or still feel new to working in colleges and universities. Whether you’ve worked a few months or a few years in higher ed, you’ll find that this program helps you understand how institutions work, how people collaborate across campus, and how to navigate your role with greater confidence.

Through practical guidance and real-world examples, you will explore the structures, culture, and priorities that shape daily life in higher education and connect them directly to your own work. By the end of the program, you will feel more grounded in your role and better prepared to take meaningful next steps in your professional growth.

This 1-month online program includes four self-paced modules and takes approximately 4 to 5 hours to complete. The experience also includes two live sessions with facilitators. A 30-minute kickoff session helps you get started, and a 1-hour closing session provides space for reflection, questions, and planning your next steps.

**Valuable for professionals early in their higher ed experience or those transitioning into higher education from other industries.
