(COLLABORATIVE SUCCESS) A System Approach to Analytics Development for System and Campus Planning and Decision Making:
How can a university system leverage its talent, information resources, and technology to best provide analytics in support of system and campus initiatives, decision making, and allocation of resources? The University System of Georgia has partnered since 2014 with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia to develop data infrastructure and analytic tools to guide system planning and advance its Complete College Georgia efforts. The project marshaled personnel with diverse disciplinary backgrounds, institutional subject matter experts, and existing investments in information technology to create data visualizations and analytic tools to support student recruitment, retention, and completion efforts.
