Information from analytics is critical for driving improvements in institutional operations. This section of the summit includes presentations from three institutions that have increased their operational success through the use of analytics:

● "Gaining Trust through Data-Driven Decisions," University of Maryland, Baltimore

● "The Evolution of Information and Insights," Valdosta State University

● "Improving the Commute: Improving the Commute, Analytics, Immersive Classrooms, and Buses" Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey

( OPERATIONAL SUCCESS) Improving the Commute: Improving the Commute, Analytics, Immersive Classrooms, and Buses:
The issue: too many students spend too much time getting to, from, and between their classes. Improving the student experience through the use of analytics is a priority at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The institution recently analyzed where students at Rutgers University&38211;New Brunswick start their days and where they go to classes, creating a scatter map of the entire campus. The information is being used to set up classes and assign them to rooms, and it drove a creative plan to use immersive technology to ease the travel between major parts of campus. Already student travel is down significantly, bus routes are reduced by over 3%, and Rutgers expects that number to increase to double digits as implementation continues.
