Cloud computing offers alternatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services. The model blurs the lines between providers, however, and this creates a myriad of issues the institution must address. This session will provide examples and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of three cloud computing models: commercial services, multi-institutional consortia, and internal clouds.
