Considering a Job Change: There's More to Consider Than You Might Think

This presentation will focus on the OIT professional who is considering changing jobs or has recently done so. We'll address the issues and surprising challenges you need to consider before and after making such a change. We'll focus on identifying the differences in institutional cultural styles and how they interact with your own value system and personal work and leadership style. Topics will include the most appropriate ways to apply your expertise while not overstepping your new role; dealing with peers and new colleagues; dealing with new superiors; dealing with new staff; and maintaining previous professional relationships.
