Simmons College's IT Task Force presents its development model, a framework for Fluency in Information Technology (FIT), which articulates desired learning outcomes for liberal arts graduates and an assessment instrument developed for ascertaining incoming students' FIT. The assessment emphasizes higher-order thinking over basic technical skills.
