Tuesday, March 28 | 8:30AM–9:20AM | Room 554
Session Type:
Breakout Session
Delivery Format:
Panel Discussion Session
In January 2016, Robert Jasek joined Trinity College and Wesleyan University as their shared chief information security officer. The arrangement, modeled after a similar collaboration between Bucknell, Franklin & Marshall, and Susquehanna, is the result of extensive planning and discussion between the two schools. In this session, we will discuss the journey from concept to reality, including the challenges involved in finding the right person for the job, as well as the numerous opportunities for collaboration that this arrangement has fostered. We will also provide a summary of initiatives under way at each campus (and often both).
Outcomes: Connect with a knowledgeable network of collaborative professionals with a common goal of mitigating information security risk at our institutions * Access resources to conduct security awareness training at your home institution * Craft and submit a request for personnel resources to enhance your institution's security posture
