Part one of this presentation uses results from parallel surveys to explore how well high school IL instruction aligns with the expectations and demands of college curricula. Secondly, hear how librarians at one university successfully wove IL concepts into the fabric of the curriculum through an outcomes-based general education program.
Outcomes: Identify approaches to improve IL skills in the transition from high school to college * Examine issues in developing a campus-wide rubric used to measure IL competency in general education courses
