In this poster session, we will outline the strategy Connecticut College librarians used in an attempt to secure funds to offset inflationary cost increases for serials and e-resources and the strategy used to eliminate subscriptions when that request for funding was denied.

Outcomes: Understand the challenges in maintaining library materials collection when faced with inflationary pressures and no additional budget relief * Learn how failure in one arena can lead to success in another * Understand that cooperative work among a college community can often lead to a successful outcome, no matter the challenges
