Teaching with Mobile Devices Community of Practice Meeting (separate registration is required)

Monday, March 27 | 3:00PM–5:00PM | Room 553A
Session Type: Additional Fee Program
Delivery Format: Community of Practice Session
It's been almost three years since web page requests from mobile devices surpassed traditional computers in terms of time spent accessing the Internet, yet many colleges and universities continue to treat smartphones and tablets as devices that have no place in the classroom. In this casual three-hour miniconference, attendees will have the chance to explore the topic of mobile computing in higher education—asking their questions, sharing their experiences, and collaborating on new ideas and opportunities. Four separate topics, determined by attendee survey, will be covered, giving all participants the chance to discuss and debate the dominant technology in most of our students' lives.
