As we know, academic integrity is formed through a complex, interwoven, and sometimes contradictory web of cultural and academic experiences, yet academia offers very few low-risk, low-penalty opportunities for these necessary life lessons. As a result, students are left with a steep learning curve and no safety net. This session will suggest how we might address the narratives around academic integrity for students and faculty and create a framework for exploring academic integrity.
