Privacy is a major and often underappreciated risk area for higher education. The speaker will provide advice for how higher education institutions can reduce the risk of experiencing a privacy fiasco by discussing several actual incidents. How can schools develop the kinds of privacy programs currently in place at businesses, hospitals, and financial institutions? Learn how to identify privacy risks and their costs, the various privacy laws that all institutions of higher education must be aware of, and how to prevent or minimize privacy risks.
