Wednesday, April 11, 2018 | 1:00PM–2:00PM ET | Maryland Ballroom D, Fifth Floor
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Interactive Presentation
Forensics is often referred to as the "F" word, and for good reason. Cost, expertise, and time are all nontrivial factors. To address these issues, we set out to create a forensic analysis pipeline that achieves three goals: it's within a reasonable budget, it's easy to use, and it reduces case turnaround. The methods and results presented here demonstrate the considerations, requirements, and opportunities for others as they approach the same question of how to perform their forensic work.

Outcomes: Get the tools, training, and software to build your own forensic lab * Be able to critically asses when, how, and to what degree to outsource your forensic work * Understand the essential forensic process and best practices
