This symposium brings together chief academic officers (CAOs) and chief information officers (CIOs) to strengthen collaboration with a focus on integrating emerging technologies, including AI, to advance academic planning, improve student success, and strengthen data-informed decision-making.
The relationship between the CAO and the CIO is critical to ensure timely, effective, and financially responsible attention to our institution’s most critical student success issues.
To better understand and support this relationship, AASCU and EDUCAUSE will bring CAOs and CIOs together to gain knowledge and skills to bridge the gap between academic goals and IT capabilities, foster a culture of teamwork and shared vision, and build capacity to support academic priorities. Participants will learn about future trends and technological advancements in higher education and hear from institutional leaders supporting innovation and transformation on their campus.
