The Convergence Forum | Risk, Resiliency, and Liability in Higher Education
The Convergence Forum, the event that brings together higher education leaders to explore the crossroads of academic, administrative, and technology issues, is back this year, but in a slightly different format. We will be holding a series of shorter virtual sessions over the coming weeks and months that draw on both the original Convergence agenda as well as considerations for higher education’s current circumstance relative to the COVID-19 crisis.
The first of these convenings will be on the topic of Risk, Resiliency, and Liability in Higher Education.
Our guests will include
- Janice Abraham, CEO, United Educators
- Peter Lake, Professor of Law, Stetson University College of Law
- Cynthia Vitters, Managing Director, Deloitte Advisory.
They will lead a short discussion on how higher education leaders can effectively balance the reopening of campuses while keeping the health of students, faculty, and staff in mind. Transitioning from crisis response to reopening campus will require a phased, risk-based approach to guide these decisions. Our guests will work through key risk areas to consider and the mitigating actions to design a path to reopening and recovery.
