Driven by the urgency of the pandemic, employers have succeeded in meeting both customer expectations and employee needs through creative approaches that have redefined where, when and how work is accomplished. Now, with the worst of COVID-19 behind us, we are leading and facilitating yet another transformation of the workforce to ensure our business and institutional goals continue to be met.

As part of that transformation, many higher ed institutions are making the business case for flexible work in order to minimize attrition and increase employee engagement and productivity. Others are skeptical that flexible arrangements can work for the long-term, but acknowledge that eliminating flexibility could come at a cost.
