Webinar | Embracing the Digital: Defining a New Strategic Approach to Learning

Join online learning leaders from the Big Ten Academic Alliance institutions to learn what is needed to succeed in a post-pandemic higher education landscape. A Big Ten subgroup participated in a modified Delphi process to project long-term trends and identify three areas requiring attention from academic leaders: 1) addressing the increasing demand for online learning and shift in demographics by emphasizing an equitable and student-centered service model; 2) providing the infrastructure to support high-quality, technology-enhanced learning driven by innovation; and 3) clearly articulating and delivering value to learners with an emphasis on flexible, integrated offerings that align with workforce skills. This interactive session will offer concrete examples, provide opportunities to informally assess your institution’s current state, and equip you with a template to catalyze conversations at your own institution.

Outcomes

  • Explore the set of emerging higher education themes, identified by a group of large public university online leaders, that are relevant to all institutions pursuing technology-enhanced learning in the post-pandemic landscape
  • Evaluate your organization’s success in relation to student services, high-quality learning, and delivering value to learners
  • Identify the stakeholders to engage in your organization to advance the conversation on academic innovation
