Industry and Campus Webinar |
How to Use Data to Put Learners First

Institutional reports often highlight lagging indicators like pass rates or completion rates, data that shows what happened after the event took place. Often this information arrives too late for institutional stakeholders to intervene effectively. In this webinar, we will explore different ways higher education institutions are using their learning management system data to optimize student success and institutional effectiveness before it's too late to make a difference. We will explore what data is important to supporting institutional success initiatives and how LMS data can be used to bolster and reinforce continuous improvement efforts.

Outcomes

  • Recognize ways learner data in the LMS can be used to support student success/institutional effectiveness
  • Reflect on how learner data is utilized within your own institution
  • Share reflections with presenters and participants

Presenters

  • Christopher Sessums

    Director, Academic Affairs, D2L
