Seminar 03F - Designing an IT Service Catalogue to Support Strategic and Operational Effectiveness (separate registration required)

Tuesday, October 15 | 9:00AM–5:00PM | Meeting Room 207A
Session Type: Professional Development
The IT Service Catalogue is a critical tool for communicating and delivering IT services and can be used to guide the end-user community toward shared ownership in the success of the IT function on campus. It is also essential to improving operational efforts in a systematic manner. In this seminar, attendees will differentiate among various types of service catalogues to select an appropriate starting point for building a service catalogue that addresses specific strategic and operational concerns. Participants will also examine issues related to assembling IT services into different groupings to leverage or improve incident management and problem escalation considerations and to improve service reporting and benchmarking. Finally, participants will develop an implementation plan and design service templates to get started on building a service catalogue on their own campuses.
