In this session, we will discuss how we are reimagining Black higher education by developing a platform that promotes Black Excellence by connecting Black colleges and communities. This platform is a shared learning technology ecosystem where learners, educators, and staff will learn, develop, and flourish together, from anywhere. We will discuss how cross-campus articulation and collaboration between more than 100 Historically Black College and University campuses actualizes institutional cost savings and course alignment. We will provide an overview of how holistic community engagement on the virtual yard captures the secret sauce of Historically Black Colleges and Universities drives student engagement, student-reported sense of belonging and support, and its power to preserve and share Black joy. Finally, we will demonstrate how rich profiles provide the ability for students to express their interests and personalities and connect with each other, forming relationships that go beyond campuses, majors, and geographies, on their identification of career pathways and talent procurement.
