Design, Dialogue, Dice: An AI Game-Making Workshop (separate registration is required)

Monday, October 21, 2024 | 8:00AM–11:30AM CT | Meeting Room 007CD, River Level
Session Type: Preconference Workshop
Delivery Format: Additional Fee Program
From novice to expert, this workshop is intended to engage small groups in a collaborative design process of creating a tabletop board game from ideation, to concept, to user testing and feedback, to a playable artifact. Small groups will partner with an AI chatbot from start to finish to empower their creativity, stress test their ideas and designs, and quickly iterate on prototypes. What normally takes months and sometimes years to create, we will explore how to create a viable tabletop game in mere hours with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence.
