Institutions are well underway with their second full academic year in which generative AI has been widely available. While conversations and planning discussions are moving past the sole concern of academic integrity, many institutions and faculty are still struggling to know how to thoughtfully integrate generative AI across the curriculum and enhance student learning outcomes. The University of Texas at Austin partnered with Grammarly in the spring and summer of 2024 to develop a set of instructional activities and lesson plans that used Grammarly’s generative AI to teach cross-curricular competencies across the campus using their AI-Forward AI-Responsible framework. Learn about the collaboration, and how UT Austin motivated student, faculty, and staff stakeholders across 30 different units to contribute to resource development that could be used by any higher education institution and emerge with a resource toolkit to implement creative and responsible AI for teaching and learning at your institution.
