Easy, Medium, Hard: Change Management through the Lens of Classroom Tech Equipment Implementation

Over the course of two years, the UC Berkeley Classroom Technology team has been engaging with instructors, peers, and outside vendors as part of the process to develop the next-generation classroom technology standard for the 200+ general assignment classrooms on campus. Through three specific pieces of technology (Easy: improved microphone options; Medium: new rear display to enhance instruction; Hard: videoconferencing hardware serving as the core of the system), we will share the approaches and processes used to prepare both the internal project team and the campus instructional community to adopt a radically new set of technologies that is transforming the classroom experience.
