Delivery Format: Poster Session
In the rapidly evolving landscape of higher education, the need for a robust and comprehensive IT service catalog has never been more critical. As we embarked on the journey of implementing a new IT Service Management platform, we recognized the necessity of developing a dynamic IT service catalog that accurately maps our services. Previously, we had some information at our disposal. However, it was often outdated and dispersed across various sources. It became evident that a fresh, innovative strategy was required to consolidate and update this information effectively. In this enlightening session, we will delve into the strategic actions we have undertaken and those we plan to implement. Our focus is on identifying, elucidating, and incorporating IT services into a user-centric IT service catalog. We place a strong emphasis on fostering a culture of learning and promoting self-service capabilities. We will share insights into our journey, shedding light on the challenges we faced, the solutions we devised, and the successes we achieved. We will also discuss our future plans to ensure the IT service catalog remains relevant, comprehensive, and aligned with the ever-changing needs of higher education. Join us as we explore the transformative power of an innovative IT service catalog. This session promises to be an engaging and informative experience, offering valuable takeaways for anyone involved in IT service management in the higher education sector.
