Fostering Community and Belonging with Hybrid and Virtual Teams (separate registration is required)

Monday, October 21, 2024 | 8:00AM–11:30AM CT | Meeting Room 221D, Second Level
Session Type: Preconference Workshop
Delivery Format: Additional Fee Program

In 2020, we all experienced emergency virtual work. Since then, some of us have remained virtual, some have returned to face-to-face work, and many have embraced a new hybrid approach. Yet, we don’t often have time to pause and consider how best to develop a community based on our working modalities. We now have evidence suggesting that our face-to-face ways of building community don’t work for virtual or hybrid. Luckily, we also have evidence – and lived experience – to create custom pathways to help our teams thrive regardless of when and where they work.
