How Successful Is Your Data and Analytics Program?

Wednesday, October 23 | 3:00PM–3:45PM CT | Meeting Room 302B, Third Level
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session
There are many analogies claiming data in the next new ___. Fill in the blank with something super-valuable, and all of them are true. Data is of the utmost importance to our institutions. But do our actions reflect that importance? In many cases, they do not. According to Gartner, “by 2026, organizations adopting active metadata practices will increase to 30% across data and analytics to accelerate automation, insight discovery and recommendations.” Although this is good news at first glance, if you are basing your insights and automation on low-quality data, it will prove disastrous. Join us as we have discussions around executive sponsorship, community buy-in, and program assessment.
