Leveraging User Data: Strategies for Applying Timely User Insights to Enhance Learning Environments

In this session, presenters from two higher education institutions of different sizes discuss innovative strategies for bridging the gap that often exists between learning space design and occupant feedback. How do we navigate the trap of deploying the newest vetted technologies into spaces without collecting feedback from the users it will affect or testing in spaces that do not match the actual spaces this technology is intended to be used in? Presenters will outline their unique processes and share insights from their experiences for developing learning spaces and feedback mechanisms, highlighting the continuous feedback loop involving all stakeholders. Attendees will engage in an interactive brainstorming session during the session to adapt these strategies to their own campus goals, followed by a Q&A and an offer for extended collaboration.
