Security and Privacy at VERY Small Colleges: Opportunities, Challenges, and Risks

Wednesday, October 23, 2024 | 4:00PM–4:45PM CT | EDUCAUSE Commons, Cybersecurity Central Theater
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session
The smallest organizations (under 900 FTE) often get overlooked and lumped in with others who seem small, but are actually two or three times larger (1,800? 5,000 FTE). We seek to find creative, responsible solutions that work with very limited resources. What are the best ways to manage risk at this size? Are there any advantages to being so small when dealing with security and privacy?
