What can higher education leaders learn from colleagues who have ventured outside of higher ed (and, in some cases, returned)? Join this session to learn from four seasoned IT leaders and their journeys both within and beyond higher ed. They will share what they missed about higher ed, a little of what they didn’t miss, and (spoiler alert!) what it looked like to come back (for some of them). The presenters will share the best of what they learned from their higher ed careers, what they’ve learned from their journey beyond, and key lessons from the overall trajectory of their careers thus far.
