Building a Knowledge Base: The Key to Collaborative Information

Friday, January 14 | 9:30AM–10:15AM | Harborside Ballroom A
Session Type: Professional Development
A knowledge base on a university or college campus can be a great impetus to bridge the information gap often experienced by the institutional community of students, faculty, and staff when locating basic information required to perform their daily tasks or roles within the community. Using the Temple University Knowledge Base as an example, this session will help you identify those information gaps on your campus, provide a strategy to implement your own knowledge base to bridge those gaps, and transform the practice of knowledge sharing at your institution to better meet the needs of your community.
