Exploring Project Management

IT departments across higher education are being asked to maintain the status quo while the IT budget continues to shrink. Any new project, including major upgrades and system replacements, require that some level of "project management" be implemented, but many institutions are struggling with what this means. This workshop will provide an introduction to project management and what it means for institutions of all shapes and sizes. While there is no one perfect project management methodology that works for every organization, we'll show you available resources so you can discover what works best in your organization.
