Overview
Colleges and universities are trying to better analyze, improve, and compete on student experience. But it’s not well defined, and it’s typically measured (if at all) through separate student surveys with low response rates that aren't readily acted upon and that aren't holistic across all the touchpoints for students, including academic programs, support services, technology, facilities, and community.
How can leaders in student affairs, academic affairs, and technology clearly define student experience and their goals, leverage qualitative and quantitative data to effectively analyze their student experience, and take action to sustain and continuously improve it? How can they change their spaces, student services, technology, organizational structure, and business processes to do so?
In this interactive course, participants will answer these questions through readings, presentations, discussions, and hands-on work—both in class and between sessions—with tools used to design student experiences.

- Relate student experience to institutional goals and context

- Predict potential implementation obstacles and ways to address them
NOTE: Between course segments, you will be asked to complete assignments that support the learning objectives stated below, and you will receive feedback and constructive critique from course facilitators on how to improve and shape your work.
