Overview
For the past five years, EDUCAUSE and HP have partnered in testing and studying the uses of extended reality (XR) in higher education, in collaboration with a variety of two-year and four-year institutions. This Learning Lab will leverage key learnings from this partnership and dive deeper into the use of XR in research. Participants in the course will examine the workflow for using XR in research, discuss different research methodologies, critique state-of-the-art technologies for XR research, and see a roadmap for creating a robust research proposal that can be submitted to their Institutional Review Board.
