This presentation will focus on a multiyear journey to review and revamp the identity and access management (IAM) technology stack at an educational institution. Like many organizations, the IAM technology stack had grown in an organic way, leading to various challenges related to identity management. The presentation will share the lessons learned during more than two years of moving away from the organic technology stack and toward an enterprise solution. The speakers will discuss how this new set of tools improves the end-user experience as well as the security posture of the campus. Attendees will gain insights into the process of modernizing an IAM technology stack and the benefits that can be achieved through the implementation of an enterprise solution.
