There is an overwhelming number of cybersecurity approaches, tactics, and tools. Since employing every offering, product, or strategy is just not possible, our experts will discuss how they choose priority initiatives while managing to keep a strong cybersecurity defense. This CISO panel will share practical approaches to holistically protect university infrastructure and prevent cyberthreats where visibility across infrastructure and identities is essential. Key themes will include collaboration across campus, outside the cybersecurity org, and how to leverage modern tools to manage and understand risk. We'll look at the recently completed initiatives and programs--tips for success and things to avoid. We'll also take a look at the 2024 cybersecurity initiatives and the landscape that drove them.
