The UM MAIZEY project introduced two innovative AI-powered chatbots designed to enhance security compliance at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. One chatbot focuses on providing faculty, staff, and students with instant answers to IT security questions, making complex protocols accessible and understandable. The second version serves as a regulated research consultant for the DSA team, delivering precise guidance on compliance with intricate research regulations. This session will showcase how these complementary tools cater to different needs, streamline security processes, and support academic and research excellence.
