Event Experience

To create a space of access and participation, the Strategies for Advancing Women’s Leadership event will be delivered online via synchronous and asynchronous engagement opportunities.

The Strategies for Advancing Women’s Leadership event will include three themes with focused resources combined with synchronous, live conversations (via Zoom) and will finish with a closing discussion plus question-and-answer session. Participants will be encouraged to engage in all three themes because they build upon one another.

Theme 1 | Women on the Move: Positioning for Your Next Level

What would it take to help you advance to the next level in your career? This segment is designed to encourage participants to strategically think through the steps needed to create impactful change in their professional lives. We’ll create a strategy that aligns with your plans and sets you up for success in positioning for your next level. Participants will also gain key insights on how to build confidence and brand themselves effectively, as well as hear from other successful women leaders who will share their own personal experiences, lessons learned, and best practices.

Theme 2 | How Women Can Elevate Influence and Maximize Their Leadership Impact

Career derailers can rob you of personal and professional success. In this interactive segment, we’ll help you acknowledge the impact of your own subtle yet powerful potential career derailers. Participants will identify and articulate their key leadership advantage so they can overcome derailers, amplify their influence, and maximize their impact. Engaging and interactive group exercises and key insights from successful women leaders will aid participants in developing their own unique influence strategy.

Theme 3 | Leveraging the 5 Superpowers of Successful Women Leaders

Balancing both soft and hard skills that support the bottom line can seem like a catch-22 situation for leaders and professional women who may feel they are operating in a “one size fits all’ leadership culture. Learn how to leverage the 5 superpowers to confidently level-up your leadership. Each superpower is packed with tips, insights, stories, and guidance to help you build a replicable, highly effective approach to achieving your professional goals.

Closing Session

The closing session will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss ideas after covering a breadth of essential topics within each theme. Dr. Sanchez will be joined by one or more of our guest leaders to answer your questions and engage with the ideas most pertinent to you after the three thematic sessions.
