This session will prompt us to think about the significance that heterogeneity can play in contributing to the productivity, creativity, and innovation in an organization. Research indicates that diverse and heterogeneous groups are twice as effective as homogeneous groups in problem solving. This session will help us think about ways to more deliberately foster inclusive organizational practices that build community.

Objectives: *Understand the complex personal, situational, and organizational factors that contribute to diversity *Value the connection between diversity, creativity, and productivity *Apply a framework based on 4 domains of leadership strength to the creation of a diverse and well-rounded leadership team
