During this session, we will discuss team dynamics and how they play out in workplace team experiences. This session will provide you with a framework to help you participate in, lead, and manage successful team-based projects, including the Learning Technology Leadership team project. We will discuss common harmful misunderstandings about teamwork and replace them will strategies to improve team performance.
Objectives: *Recognize and discard myths, tropes, and false dichotomies related to leadership *Discern strategies for working with and in teams, including management frameworks and interpersonal strategies *Practice strategies for dealing with conflict and having difficult/courageous conversations *Identify approaches to improving teamwork during this week and back at your institution
