Vendor Statements of Work: Your Role as an IT Professional
After a statement of work agreement is signed, a vendor will provide some sort of service, either short- or long-term, for your college or university. What is the role of the college or university employee in managing the statement of work and making sure that the vendor delivers as promised? In this session, we will take sections from actual statements of work, analyze the language, and translate the words into action steps for the college or university employee. That's right: the work isn't all on the vendor. There's a significant and important role that IT professionals contribute to vendor-supplied (or outsourced) work.
