Evaluating Next Generation Learning Challenges: Blended Learning in a Scaled-Up Environment

This session will target the strategies utilized in the University of Central Florida (UCF) and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) Next Generation Learning Challenges grant to significantly scale blended learning to 20 institutions. We discuss the methods used for evaluating this initiative, including the design, tools, and methods for gathering data, as well as the issues involved with obtaining meaningful data from such a large, atomized project. Preliminary results and lessons learned will be shared with participants, and discussion will focus on issues surrounding the implementation of blended learning within differing disciplines and campuses.
