Seminar 01 - Creating an Inclusive Mobile Strategy for the Millennial Learner

Georgia Health Sciences University, a pioneer in mobile learning, will discuss opportunities to utilize mobile learning (including gaming and simulation) to embrace millennial learners, responding to their evolving learning styles. Elements of a mobile strategy will be discussed, including how to start with low-hanging fruit to achieve quick wins and gain momentum. Authentic examples of mobile learning applications will be presented, including commercially available, as well as in-house apps created by GHSU's educational designers and developers. This session is designed to address the question of why mobile and to provide strategies on starting, or expanding, your mobile initiative.
