Many universities are navigating space constraints as the student body increases while current learning spaces degrade and/or funds for creating new spaces dwindle. At Auburn, we propose leveraging a physical space (a new active learning classroom building) to expand hybrid course offerings. This financially responsible solution addresses the critical space issue while also incorporating various learning techniques that reach students in engaging and meaningful ways. We will present our evidence-based hybrid course (re)design model that faculty will participate in as a test case to help participants plan or revise their own development.
Outcomes: Explore our previous (re)design faculty workshop plan * Explore our future hybrid course (re)design faculty workshop plan. * Leverage our experiences and share your own
