Session Type:
Meeting
Leading Academic Transformation (LAT) is an EDUCAUSE community of practice (CoP) for those who advance their institution's teaching, learning, and student success mission. This fall, we discussed the importance of advocating for open standards. In most cases, open standards are essential to academic transformation. Academic and IT leaders must actively advocate for open standards adoption with vendors and colleagues.
This community meeting brings our discussion down to ground level in a facilitated story circle activity. Brush up on open standards like LTI Advantage (http://www.imsglobal.org/lti-advantage-overview) and Caliper Analytics in preparation. Join your LAT colleagues and in leading academic transformation, in real time.
Attend this meeting whether you are a LAT member or just curious about LAT. Go to LAT (https://www.educause.edu/eli/initiatives/leading-academic-transformation) to learn more and join at any time. LAT CoP meetings occur periodically online and in person at national events.
