In this presentation, we will introduce you to some concrete strategies, job aids, and methods that can be used to implement and scale up Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in a higher ed context. We draw from our own experience of demonstrably effective UDL development from three different perspectives (administrator, UDL expert, and training participant/instructional designer) to share lessons learned on what worked and what required adjustment. Additionally, you will gain access to materials that you can customize to your own needs.
Outcomes: Demonstrate the application of UDL concepts at your own institution * Customize UDL training materials provided for use at your institution * Be able to implement a UDL training plan at your institution
