We will present a framework that classifies different types of classroom flipping into four models based on the course delivery mode (face-to-face course versus hybrid/blended course) and the flipping scope (full flipping versus partial flipping). Course examples will be used to illustrate the characteristics of online learning and in-class learning under different flipping models. We will compare assessment findings across those course examples regarding students' level of acceptance for flipping, influences of online learning on in-class learning, and the impact of flipping on final learning outcomes. Participants are encouraged to share classroom flipping examples or experience from their own institutions.
Outcomes: Explore the framework of classroom flipping models and identify the model used in a given course * Describe and identify online learning and in-class learning characteristics of different classroom flipping models * Discuss the impact of classroom flipping models on student satisfaction, learning process, and learning outcomes
