Effective digital stewardship is vital to maintaining durable access to digital content for scholarship, research, education, and government. Increasingly, educational institutions are taking a leadership role in developing and managing technical infrastructure, policies, and procedures to enable long-term access to and dissemination of institutional and disciplinary digital assets. However, this is a challenging and rapidly evolving area. The National Agenda for Digital Stewardship regularly integrates the perspective of dozens of experts and hundreds of institutions, convened through the NDSA (comprising over 200 member institutions), to identify the highest-impact opportunities in this field.

Outcomes: Define key digital stewardship goals and terms * Learn how to characterize potential organizational needs for digital curation and potential stakeholders * Identify major trends in digital curation and the sources of information needed to efficiently monitor current trends and opportunities
