A Rubric for Student Success Analytics

Wednesday, March 27, 2024 | 1:45PM–2:30PM ET | Ballroom A-C (Exhibit Hall)
Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Poster Session
The Rubric for Student Success Analytics was designed out of the Student Success Analytics Framework driven by leadership in the EDUCAUSE Student Success Analytics Community Group. In an environment with an abundance of data and entities seeking to help students, this rubric provides a path forward toward addressing the dynamic and extraordinary circumstances that our students are experiencing today. The rubric has four key subcategories: Preparedness, Outcomes, Analysis, and Decisions that outline best practices for using Analytics in a Student Success Initiative. The author will provide insights into how the rubric can be used in various formats at an institution, and relevant materials will be available for participants visiting the poster. The rubric provides a tactical tool and is designed to help institutions identify areas for improvement, regardless of where the institution is in its initiative.
